Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily finance operations and coordinate month-end close: accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, reporting

  • Partner with Accounting to keep records accurate and deadlines on track

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

  • Drive the monthly budgeting and forecasting cycle and help sharpen the underlying methodology

  • Deliver management reports and analyses that genuinely inform decisions

  • Support the annual budget for the upcoming fiscal year and contribute to the mid-term planning cycle

  • Partner with budget owners and Procurement on cost control, spend transparency, and sourcing decisions

  • Manage client-related finance activities: invoicing, billing reviews, revenue tracking

  • Support project and customer profitability analysis, in close coordination with commercial and delivery teams

  • Keep AR, invoicing, payment tracking, and PO/approval workflows running smoothly in a lean team

  • Ensure reporting readiness across ERP systems for current and future needs

  • Support group-wide reporting standards and IFRS requirements

  • Contribute to financial data preparation and validation in the context of an ongoing ERP transition

  • Improve reporting transparency, data quality, and financial governance

Job requirements

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

  • 8+ years of experience across Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Accounting, or Finance Business Partnering

  • Strong command of end-to-end finance: budgeting, forecasting, month-end, controlling, reporting, planning

  • Fluent English is essential for day-to-day collaboration; German is a welcome plus but not a requirement

  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with a hands-on, pragmatic mindset — equally at ease with strategic analysis and day-to-day execution

  • Solid ERP knowledge (e.g. SAP S/4HANA or comparable enterprise platforms); comfortable operating through system change

  • Familiarity with IFRS and corporate finance governance

  • Strong stakeholder management across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and operations

  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and effective with limited supervision — a natural fit for an interim setting
