Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java 25 and Spring

  • Contribute to select services built on Quarkus

  • Build and maintain asynchronous, event-driven communication between services using RabbitMQ

  • Implement and maintain authentication and authorization flows via Keycloak, including custom SPIs

  • Design and optimize data models and queries in PostgreSQL

  • Write integration tests using Docker and Testcontainers to ensure reliable, reproducible builds

  • Develop and maintain integrations with third-party services and external APIs

  • Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver secure, scalable, high-quality software

  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Job requirements

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java (Java 17+, ideally Java 21/25) and the Spring framework

  • Solid experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, performance tuning, migrations)

  • Experience with RabbitMQ

  • Familiarity with Keycloak, including writing custom SPIs

  • Experience with Docker and Testcontainers for integration testing

  • Experience integrating with third-party / external APIs and services

  • Solid understanding of microservice architecture and REST API design

  • Exposure to Quarkus is a plus
